About Dr. Cahill

Dr. Cahill joined Coastal Ob/Gyn in August 2000 after completing his residency at Stamford Hospital/Columbia University. During that time he had three boys which meant Kathy was working hard raising the children.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University, he went on to earn his Master of Science at the University of Buffalo.  Dr. Cahill received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Cahill is active in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology where he has served as chairman of the Peer Review Committee. He has also been a member of the Medical Executive Committee.  And is involved with resident education for which he received a teaching award.  Dr. Cahill has been selected by patients as Connecticut’s Top Doctors in Fairfield County.

Dr. Cahill recently returned from a medical mission to Honduras. It was an incredible experience and he hopes to go again.  He received The Father Rufin Award from the Diocese of Bridgeport which is awarded to health care workers for exemplifying compassionate and loving care for the sick.
